At the EdLab Seminar on April 5 we took on the challenge of designing a mobile carrier for our round wooden tables in the Learning Theater.  The challenge was to design something that would allow a single table to be moved from floor to floor via the elevator athough some seminar participants also considered ways to store a set of tables.  The share outs in this video capture the highlights of the group's work.

In a lecture at UCI Dan Russell from Google discusses the future of learning and the importance of skills in research and search.  This overview of the talk highlights the importance of evolving literacies as foundational for self-directed learning.  Russell covers search strategies in his
