Today a large group of us all ate lunch at the same time in the red booths. We started to have a big discussion about Facebook as it is a popular topic all across the nation these days, especially with the struggle of Facebook's stock and the recent marriage of Mark Zuckerberg .

Is it becoming a trend to have technology laboratories that emphasize collaboration and innovation based out of libraries and library schools? It sounds like the LIU innovation lab is focusing on similar projects to the EdLab, including an online learning course, education and media, and the future of education. Does anyone have any k...

Thanks to those of you who participated in the exciting Mobile Squad event last Thursday. It was a wonderful opportunity to work with different people at the lab, get outside and ask people in the community about their mobile learning habits. For those of you who couldn't make it, we were a site to see as we wore our EdLab shirts proudly and enthusiastically approached people in the neighborhood.
Due to a storm in downtown Manhattan the # 2, 3, 4 and 5 trains are having signal problems. Due to an accident on the A line, the A, C, and E trains are following alternate routes. To see if you will be affected by these problems check the MTA home page.
Good luck getting home today!

The same calligraphy is in the corner of both photographs. Can anyone help us to understand the meaning of the calligraphy? Thanks for your help!
An interesting article about homework.
