Bismark Appiah is a recent graduate of Lehman College, where he majored in Accounting. A native of Ghana, Bismark moved to New York in 2005 and graduated from Frederick Douglass Academy. At EdLab, Bismark works on digitizing Teachers College’s historical collections to make it accessible to students, faculty, researchers and the rest of the community. He also works on completing library requests via DocDel and supports EdLab projects such as Vialogues and New Learning Times by creating content and raising awareness.

Bismark is an active volunteer at his church where he organizes events and activities for the youth and also plays the percussion. In his spare time, Bismark enjoys playing soccer and is a huge fan of Spanish club Barcelona. He is interested in learning more about how different countries approach education and the outcomes it produces.
