Growing up, Daniel's family was in the publishing and bookstore business in South Korea and he learned early about communication, influence, perception and the value of expanding one's mind.
After receiving his BA and MA in Mass Communications, with a strong focus on film studies, Daniel set his sights on NYC where he expanded his background into design with a BFA from the School of Visual Arts. His multi-level perspective on the many areas of communications has helped him to create award-winning (UCDA, Communication Arts, Print magazine) works in education, design, nonprofit and the commercial sectors, and adds the needed layer of effectiveness in the projects he shepherds.
A strategic thinker experienced in diverse communications working with many iconic global brands, Daniel's clients and employers have included SVA: The School of Visual Arts, Interior Design magazine, The New York Public Library, Case Commons, Electrolux, Pfizer, CDM: Cline Davis Mann, W Hotels, and Pantone.
His passion for education and developing the new tools for the next generation brought him to Edlab, where he's excited to apply a fresh approach and new eye toward creating new engaging solutions to increase effectiveness in reaching, educating and mentoring students.
