A good book has always been my refuge. Often times, I’ve found myself connected, transported and replenished by the meaning and inspiration found within books. Books have offered me an endless supply of ideas - each a uniquely carved puzzle piece awaiting to be connected to the next to form a tapestry of ideas.

The cross pollination of ideas across a broad range of sectors in turn fuels innovation. Today one thing is certain-the rate of technological advancements are rapidly shaping how we learn. At EdLab, I’m part of a team of skilled writers and editors that help cover advancements at the intersection of education and technology.

We are helping tell the story of what works in the edtech space to help answer the following questions:

• What are we learning about the technology integration in learning communities?
• How are learning communities using technology to “redefine” what learning looks like?
• How do learning communities plan for emerging technology?

In working to answer these questions, I’m hoping to provide more answers than questions, to spur ideas and foment the spread of learning. Like books, we are continuing to rediscover meaning and introducing new ideas every day.

My passion for ideas has always driven the development of my work and impact. I'm an ideator with a wide range of experience leading and developing programming that works to cultivate the leadership potential and efficacy of educators. Because of my core belief and purpose to cultivate potential, I analyze, create and innovate. At Teacher For America, I have developed and improved national alumni programs using a natural orientation for creating data monitoring tools and conducting data analysis to identify trends, gaps and untapped opportunities. My experience as a first generation college graduate my views in education and drives my passion to help transform how we understand learning and work with educational institutions, organizations and stakeholders to remove obstacles to spur long-term success for students. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science at Baruch College, majoring in Public Affairs with a concentration in education policy and a minor in English.
