JFK recent accident of Airbus A380
I am sure most of you would have heard about the recent accident that happened at JFK Airport where Airbus A380 had a minor collision with a smaller aircraft. I think this issue brings up new questions about a) How these airports have to scale up for accommodating bigger aircrafts like A380, Boeing Dreamliner. b) Also how to facilitate the checkin and checkout of not only people but also these aircrafts as the airports are already overloaded with the surge in air travel. In addition to this, the recent expansion of JFK to get more proposed land by filling up 400 acres of Jamaica Bay has come to a standpoint after environmentalists raised their concern of it damaging the ecological environment.
