Collective Wisdom - 2016

"Collective Wisdom" is a virtual library designed by interaction designer and developer Adiel Fernandez.

Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself. - John Dewey

Collective Wisdom is an interactive installation that uses projection mapping and motion capturing cameras to allow users to browse the 'library' and add their own content via www.CollectiveWisdom.cc

Users can also explore a selection of historic scholars who are significant to Teachers College and education through the "book" on the central platform.

Artist Adiel Fernandez is a New York City native who began as a Physics teacher before completing a masters in Design and Technology at Parsons School of Design. He has since instructed at the American Museum of Natural History, been adjunct professor at Parsons, and completed several projection mapping installations throughout the United states.

User Testing, spring 2016

Artist Adiel Fernandez uses projection mapping and 3D animation to create an interactive virtual library where visitors can input their own content while learning about other scholars in the field of education.
