Special Guests: Loot, Inc.
From Monday, July 8th through Friday, July 12th, TC Professor Anand Marri will be hosting a special workshop in the library—the Financial Literacy Summer Institute. Taking place in the Second Floor Collaboration Space each day, 60 social studies teachers will be learning how to teach personal financial literacy. The project, Loot, Inc. (featured on the library's Pressible website service!) is an ongoing conversation about developing personal financial literacy inside and beyond the classroom. The library is also creating videos of the event to share on, our award-winning video discussion platform. The second floor stacks, reading tables and Mac workstations will remain open for patron use, though we ask for your patience as we close the collaboration space for the event from 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday.
