Is handwriting a lost art? Common Core standards only require children to learn how to write "legibly" in grades K-1. After Grade One, emphasis is placed on keyboard and typing proficiency. Is print writing headed in the same direction as cursive? A skill we are forced to learn, quickly give up, and will only vaguely remember how to do?
