Continuous content enrichment and focus on data quality
Continued content neutrality
Granular resource types
Enhanced performance
Enhanced operational efficiencies for our customers, content partners and Ex Libris
For customers:

As Summon Library, we will begin using the CDI in Q3 of 2019.
I will participate in a webinar ("Ex Libris Central Discovery Index: An Overview and Update.") on May 29 at 11am to learn more about their roadmap for Summon, and how we might be able to directly leverage the CDI for our search and recommendation tools. Let me know if you are interested in joining.
