Remembering Service Design
It has been several years since Hui Soo and I taught a course that covered service design. This article from Customer Think is a reminder that all of our immediate efforts to improve the patron experience (e.g., wayfinding, EdLab account, EdLab interface, search, Learning Theater Events) need to be integrated into a more wholistic view that encompasses the total experience of interacting with the library and its various elements to achieve learning goals.
